Matt Rowe
Matthew Rowe presents the viewer with an essence of folk culture in a quest to
distill the codes and embellishments that define regional identity. Rowe’s practice
emerges from documentary imagery to produce a lexicon of props, decorative
curios and actions. Objects are constructed from an assortment of materials
intrinsic to our domestic environment.
